On January 27, 2026 the ECCFA was Working to Rule and picketed in extremely cold weather before walking into a Board of Trustees meeting where several members and supporters spoke to the Board in support of a fair contract. The ECCFA Negotiations Committee was able to avoid a strike and with the assistance of a mediator, came to an agreement with the Board. ECCFA members ratified that contract a month after the picketing. We showed Strength in Unity and let the Board of Trustees know that we were not going to back down. This is the power of the Union!
